The Catholic religion was not in Peru until the Spanish explorers arrived and taught that religion to the people already living there.<\/p>\n<p>Some people are Evangelical Christians (7%).<\/p>\n<p>Some people (2.5%), especially the native communities of the Andes and the Amazon, have kept the religion of their ancestors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- index.php
